Dr. Nancy Foster Environmental and Eco-Discovery Centers
With the aid and experience of Tecta partner, Magco, Inc., Murton Roofing completed one of the first green roofs in South Florida at the NOAA's Dr. Nancy Foster Environmental Center in Key West. The roof complies with the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED standards and contains indigenous Gulf Cord grass as well as Yellowtop plants in a specially-blended weed-free soil media. Murton also installed the roof on the neighboring Eco-Discovery Center. |

Ocean IV Condominium
In 2006, Murton Roofing and Davco-Murton Waterproofing were selected as the roofing and waterproofing contractors for Ocean IV, a high-rise beachfront condominium on Sunny Isles Beach. The facility called for a 24,000-square-foot modified roof system and over 100,000 square feet of waterproofing encompassing the parking garages, pool deck, mechanical rooms and balconies. |

Charlotte County Facilities
The storms of the 2004 Hurricane Season hit Florida's west coast hardest and Murton Roofing's Port Charlotte division was ready to get the county's public facilities back in working condition. Murton repaired and re-roofed several municipalities, schools and other public facilities including Charlotte Regional Medical Center and the Charlotte County Administration Building. Murton was also selected to install roofs on new area schools currently under construction. |

American Airlines Arena
Home of the Miami Heat, the American Airlines Arena was a $175 million construction project completed in 1999. Murton Roofing installed the original roof - approximately 150,000 square feet of modified roof system with aluminum coating - and completed about 120,000 square feet of ground level waterproofing throughout the parking garage and surrounding plaza protecting the personnel, press and player facilities underneath. The shadow of an airplane, visible to flights in and out of Miami International Airport, is painted on the roof in grey aluminum-compatible paint. |

Indian River County Schools
The storms of the 2005 Hurricane Season ravaged much of Florida's east coast. In their wake, Indian River County Schools depended on Murton Roofing to completely re-roof five schools including Pelican Island Elementary and Vero Beach High School. |

Dolphin Mall
Completed in 2003, the roof on the Dolphin Mall in Miami was primarily a modified roof system of over 1.5 million square feet. A standing seam system was installed on the mall's dome as well as about 150,000 square feet of shingles on other sections. Davco-Murton Waterproofing performed the waterproofing work required on areas containing skylights. |

Beach Club II & III Condominiums Murton Roofing's waterproofing division, Davco-Murton Waterproofing was selected to perform the coating work on Beach Club II and Beach Club III, the new high-rise condominiums on Hallandale Beach. The contract called for extensive amounts of waterproofing including parking areas, mechanical rooms, and pool decks. |

Tech Center of the Americas
Located in Miami, Tech Center of the Americas is one of South America's primary data hubs and contains thousands of servers. A bunker-like complex, the conditions inside are highly controlled and the conditions outside must remain outside. Murton Roofing was chosen to install the facility's 130,000 square foot hot rubberized roof system, completed in 2002. |

Sebastian River High School
The initial installation of Sebastian River High School's 200,000 square foot roof was interrupted by the storms of the 2005 Hurricane Season. Crews worked swiftly to make the facility water-tight for the upcoming school session and in 2006, the roof, covered in beautiful S-tile, was complete. |

Riverbend Condo
The work performed at Riverbend Condominiums in Hutchinson Island was a $1.3 million dollar, 75,000 square foot re-roof which included a complete tear off of the former metal roof and installation of a new standing seam roof system. |

Broward Center for the Performing Arts
Murton Roofing installed a 50,000 square-foot coal tar pitch roof including dozens of special sound-proof pavers necessary to preserve the acoustic integrity of the structure. In addition, there are about 25,000 square feet of clay barrel tile and 18,000 square feet of copper was chemically aged (patina) and installed as downspouts, coping caps, fascia and gutters. |
